Reflection

For the first week of the assignment, Sadhna first asked us to do a study of quantitative and qualitative data. I found two sets of quantitative and qualitative data on the Internet and visualized them. In this process, I gained a deeper understanding of quantitative and qualitative data.

Then Sadhna introduced the concept of scale and range, threshold, quantity and degree. Through relevant cases, I understand that scale does not have to be related to numbers. It can be some qualitative data or even something more imaginative. Remi mentioned that the scale she understood could be ice cream, the color of leaves and even the distance between people. These examples given by Remi have inspired me a lot.
